Drones of the future unveiled by the Pentagon

The latest 25-year “Unmanned Systems Integrated Roadmap” has been released by the U.S. Department of Defense. The report sketches join service strategy through 2038. I haven’t had chance to read (or skim) through it yet, but these reports are usually pretty fascinating. According to some coverage, the roadmap details how the DOD plans to built automous drones that can hunt in swarms launched from unmanned motherships, equipped with deadly chemical weapons.
