Drone University

Jerry LeMieux, a retired Air Force colonel, recently founded the world’s first university dedicated solely to unmanned systems education. ‘Unmanned Vehicle University’ received its international accreditation in July. LeMieux is seeking FAA certification so students can ‘remotely’ take to the skies.

Already, the University of North Dakota offers its own degree programs in the field of unmanned systems, and is also seeking to become an FAA-certified training center.
