Victory through Air Power

Alexander Seversky was a Russian-American pilot and a famous advocate for the strategic advantages of “air power” during World War II. His book, “Victory Through Air Power” was turned into a film by Walt Disney in 1943.

He hypothesised that planes would dominate a continuous battlespace without traditional frontiers, and without investment in technology, the U.S. would be left behind and ultimately fall victim to the Nazis.

The movie is on YouTube.
